Lilies often last a week or more in fresh water. Remove each bloom as it fades so the buds behind it have room to open.

Why remove the pollen?
Lily pollen stains fabric and skin. Pull off the anthers gently with a tissue as each flower opens, and the bloom will also last a little longer.
